155 Years Ago: U.S. Marine Hospital Occupied
JANUARY 11, 1861: U.S. Marine Hospital two miles below New Orleans was occupied by Louisiana State troops.
(This was not a Marine Corps hospital as I initially thought. It was for seamen.
