150 Years Ago-- February 2-4, 1864
FEBRUARY 2-4, 1864:
Blockade-runner Presto was discovered ashore under the batteries of Fort Moultrie in Charleston Harbor. Three monitors fired on it for three days until they were satisfied it was completely destroyed.
